What reviewers kept coming back to
- Heat pump install
- “I bought a heat pump, new furnace, tankless water heater and a new Napoleon Phantom barbecue with a natural gas hook up installed on my deck from Scott this summer and am pleased with everything.”
- Handles the rebate paperwork
- “There was no problem either getting the rebate through or being approved for the Greener Homes Loan as his quotes and prices were impeccable and very detailed.”
- Written price before the work
- “They were also the only company to be openly transparent and provide me with a detailed quote with line items for each piece of the solution to be installed.”
- No pressure quote
- “He did not speak down to me, as some contractors do when dealing with a woman, and I did not feel pressured at any time.”
- Billing dispute
- “Not only did they spend 2 hours on fixing the wiring issue, they then sent me a $350 bill.”
- Repeat visits needed
- “And worst, the issue came back the next day and they were supposed to send someone in but didn’t and also didn’t let me know.”
Themes come only from the Google reviews already stored against this listing, and each one carries the reviewer’s own sentence. A listing with fewer than three stored reviews gets none at all.
Ontario rebate programme
Tracey Home Comfort appears on Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings contractor directory as registered to install heat pumps under the programme, listed there as Tracey Refrigeration Inc. Homeowners generally need a registered contractor to claim the rebate.
Heat pump types on the register: Centrally Ducted ccASHPs, Ductless ccASHPs.
Being on this list is not a recommendation. The programme states that Enbridge Gas and the IESO do not endorse any of the contractors on it. Read from the official contractor directory on 2026-08-03. Confirm current status with the programme before you sign anything.
